The TCPS118 is a 3U CompactPCI Serial module (PICMG CPCI-S.0 R2.0 compatible) that offers 8 isolated multifunction counter channels. Whether building precision motion control systems, industrial automation platforms, or demanding measurement applications, the TCPS118 provides the flexibility and signal integrity that is needed.

Each of the eight fully isolated channels can be configured as an SSI master, a quadrature counter for incremental encoders, or a general-purpose 32-bit counter, making the TCPS118 one of the most versatile encoder interface cards available for CompactPCI Serial systems. Input compatibility covers both TTL/RS422 (TCPS118-10R) and 24 V industrial signals (TCPS118-20R), with an integrated digital filter on every channel for reliable operation in electrically noisy environments.

Beyond the counter and encoder functionality, each channel also includes a dedicated isolated 24 V digital input and a 24 V highside digital output, giving you direct control and monitoring of field-level devices without needing additional I/O modules. All 68 I/O signals are accessible through a single MDR-68 connector, keeping your wiring clean and manageable.

Software Support (TCPS118-SW-xx) for different operating systems is available.
