The device driver is available for major operating systems. It allows applications simple access to the supported hardware.
Beside of standard data transfer (receive and transmit) this device driver allows the individual configuration of the serial channels, for example:
- Baudrate
- Number of databits
- Parity
- Stopbit
Transmit and receive FIFOs are supported by the driver, the trigger levels are configurable, allowing best behavior with high load or in critical systems.
